About Us
Berberis House Apiary (BHA Honey) was founded in 2005 on the outskirts of the rural village of Sutton St James in Lincolnshire. The business is owned and run by David and Irene Arlott.
As a responsible honey producer, and for your own peace of mind, we are registered with the South Holland District Council and hold a Food Standards Agency Rating 5. We also hold Certificates for Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene.
We are Members of the Bee Farmers Association; The British Beekeepers Association; The West Norfolk & Kings Lynn Beekeepers Association; and the Guild of Jam & Preserve Makers.
We also regularly attend various Conferences and Courses to keep up with the latest advances in techniques and regulations relating to our products.
Our Wax products are chemical and paraben free and are registered on the SCPN (Submit Cosmetic Products Notification).

David is most at home tending to the bee colonies and is responsible for the management of the honeybees and the harvesting of the honey crops.

Irene is responsible for the development of the continually increasing range of pure beeswax products which now includes Candles, Lip Balms, Foot Balms, Polish and our latest addition, the very popular 'eco-friendly' Food Wraps. |

Bringing all our expertise together to provide you with excellent customer services, top quality products and a knowledgeable team to answer any honeybee related questions you might like to know more about.
